Default The Adventures of Baron Munchausen

I really enjoyed this movie, but I've found that I'm in the minority among friends and family. For those of you who have seen it, did you enjoy it? I thought all the actors did a fantastic job, the props and the settings were beautiful and it was just a great movie all around.

I loved the fact that many of the actors had more than one role and that even though all the stories were completely separate, they all worked well together. Plus they were just plain fun!

I don't know anything about the story behind it. I think I recall that it was based on a book that was supposedly the true story of a real man? Anyone know anything about that?

This is actually one of those Terry Gilliam films I haven't actually watched. Odd.

In my opinion it is definitely worth watching. It is well made, funny and just plain entertaining. It is also suitable for family viewing (from what I recall).

I have seen no other movie that depicted the Grim Reaper in such a frightening way. I loved this film too.

I watched this on the recommendation of a friend and enjoyed it very much. But I've only seen it one time, and I think it is the sort of film that you don't really get everything out of on first viewing. It was on cable the other day and I didn't sit down to watch it; being cable, it will probably be around again soon.

Loved it, though I've only ever seen it once, when it came out in the cinemas...I was about twelve at the time...

I haven't been able to get my hands on it again so I don't remember a lot except that I had a lot of fun and for some reason cried at the end...
