Default Lumosity training

My boss recommanded me the site Lumosity for training my memory and I would like to recommend it, too.

If you think that you would like to improve your attention, for traffic for example, or problem solving (how much tip you have to give), or if you have difficulties to remember the names of the persons you meet, this is the place to do it. You have 3 free sessions. My boss forgot to tell me that she was using the games without paying, so I paid for one year. It's quite expensive, so if you cannot afford it, keep using the free games.

I can confirm that after only two weeks I could see the difference at work. I have every five minutes somebody else entering my office so it's very difficult to concentrate and keep working.

Anyone else is using this site ?

Sounds interesting, but no, I don't use the site though I do use Mind Mapping. Mind Mapping is a wonderful way to recall past events, shopping lists. I even find it helpful for when I do public speaking.

If you are interested and would like, I can post it in more detail here. Contains one coloured diagram. Great fun.

It looks really interesting. Do you use the free of payed version ?

I'm tempted to take the intruduction course, but the price for only one course is really expensive. (£49+ VAT). Are they all so expensive ?

I cannot afford it right now, but I'm sure I will take it ASAP. I have to train more and more people at work and this kind of training is really healpful. Thanks !

I bought the paid version (£49) which actually, is very good value as many of these mind/memory mapping websites can charge a lot more. But it is possible to learn for free if you're prepared to surf the 'net. Originally, I was running a search to buy those lovely old fashioned fragrant roses for my garden, so typed in "Images of Roses". 'Safe Search' was turned off, and I encountered a mind mapping site, and went from there. Later, I typed "Mind Mapping" and a whole load of sites came up.

My job is very demanding. Lots to remember and crucially, people's names, too, because introducing someone and forgetting their name is mega embarrassing. At conferences I often do presentations lasting up to 45 minutes on my Asus NX90 laptop, and Buzan's mind mapping technique is so useful because I don't forget anything.
