Lonliness
Do you think you can be so used to being lonely that it becomes the norm, and theres no going back?

Re: Lonliness
Yeah, its a sad fact.
I feel so awkward in face to face situations now its horribal. It makes it worse when the lonliness is made to feel like its your fault.

Re: Lonliness
You can be alone and feel like you are not alone at all. It's a state of mind. The problem is that once you get older, the feelings you have are stronger and we are afraid to do things like we did as teenagers.

Re: Lonliness
Hi all,
I think Alexa is right. Lonliness is a state of mind. It's due to lack of stimulation from another persons character or opinions. If you are on your own, you only have yourself to reason with. You can be on your own and very content if you lead an active life, as your mind is constantly stimulated.

Re: Lonliness
I'm in that same boat now. work have put me on a later shift, and being bottom of the pecking order the others don't really talk, ot include you in conversation. the only time i'm spoken to is to be told something is broken and i need to go and fix it. it sucks.

Re: Lonliness
There are only 2 of us in my department, we both used to work together. now we only cross paths twice a week. The other work as a team on a regular basis, so we have always been the 'outsiders', we had just started to win some of them over. now this new guy has come in and messed up everyone really, its just a place full of bad feeling right now.
