Before my dog died i did. as we rehomed him he came with six weeks free insurance with a company called pet plan, after which we had the option of keeping it running. we did as the dog we had before had big problems with her hips with treatment running into thousends so it is worth it. it was working out around 7 pounds per month.

We never did with the cats as they went to a PDSA vet, they were set up for low income families.

I still don't know what to do. I had no insurance for Bella and I found really expensive her treatment per day. I looked in the pet insurance available and they are not very attractive. If your pet has not serious health problems, I'm tempted to say that a pet insurance is not worth to take it. On the other hand, if the pet is ill, then this could be a solution in order ot be able to pay all the bills.

When some idiot smashed into my sisters car, on a long straight motorway, while he was drunk. He knocked her off the road at 70mph, she ended up with the front of her car up a tree and he drove off leaving her (for all he knew she was dead) it took her insurance company 6 months to pay her out. She had to take out a loan and put herself in to debt to buy another car.
If it wasn't a leagal thing i wouldn't bother with it. You are spot on when you say robbers

I Foster a cat right now till his owners will get back from Asia. (two months). The cat has only one year. He is sweet and really easy to thake care of. Instead when he get hungry during the night, he walks on me, push me with his powes, he scrach all around the bed, plus the miaw request, so I really don't have any choice than to go and feed him. Every morning around 3-4 o'clock. Not very calming, huh !

I almost forgot. He drives crazy my cat ! They are both sterilised, but I think the cat doesn't know it !
