"...yes, I am trying to be your average inconspicuous everyday member of this forum..." said the goblin, going MYAHAHAHAHA to reassure everyone of his sincerity in this matter, adding "...think of me as one of you then..."

Re: the last person to post here wins
"...at any rate I'll never go there again..." said the goblin as he picked his way through his mailbox, "...for the life of me, those are the silliest "last post" tea-parties I ever was at..." and just as the goblin said this, the goblin noticed that yet another email had the words "the last person to post here wins, reply notification", "...oh, now that is very curious.." the goblin thought. "...oh but everything is curious today. I think I should go back there and see then..." as the goblin pressed the link which then reads "I win", "...curiouser and curiouser..." exclaimed the goblin continuing "...but we'll soon see about that though..." as the goblin readies his reply and posts "...mortals you step away from sanity if you continue down this path with me here..." but the goblin guessed that it was already too late for many, sanity had never been much fun it seemed

Re: the last person to post here wins
"... that's how it all starts, that first taste, the start of many addiction..." as he scccumbs once more, and gives up on his plans for the day and instead makes another fire to keep him warm as he posts away the day "...not that I have ever been a drinker as such, despite my years of excess, not one of the must have a drink types like the serious alcoholic we dragged out of bed once on a team building works outward bounds course, in our effort to score more points for our team, and so we dragged the sleeping members from their blissful rest, and made them walk across a 6" wide bridge of ropes and planks which precariously hovered over a frozen pond in the middle of a cold February night. One by one they tripped across and added to our tally, until poor John, stinking of the whiskey still half asleep, froze, halfway across. We encouraged and cajoled, while the pyshcologists looked on with their notepads, ticking boxes on the performance of their lab rats, no joy, so I joined him on the bridge that creaked with our combined weight, and gently ushered him across, past his fear, and as the bridge broke sending me knee deep into the icy 3' depth, it mattered not, for points were in the bag, our team had won, and it was worth getting cold and wet, to wipe the smug smiles from the faces of the other team, better than being poor John too, safe but shattered on the bank, and who would never be dry"

Re: the last person to post here wins
("...interesting post JATS..." said the goblin)
repost from elsewhere, the goblin's two cents then
French game show stirs controversy by 'torturing' contestants - MSN TV News
the goblin showed, feeling that most points had already been mentioned by now, saying "...society functions on having its civilians accept the idea of greed and punishment in their midst, the carrot and the stick then, so the question, that hasn't been explored here, is do those who kill their victim turn out to be better adjusted to this society, for it's the same difference, "mercy killing" is just that, where the others are "punishment befitting the crime", "self defense", "the fetus was unwanted", "defending ones liberties", and the like, all just "loophole justifications" on a slippery slope to a mental acceptance at first, and then to a physical compliance afterwards..." mentioned the goblin now, adding "...isn't that what goes though the contestants minds at the time then..."

Re: the last person to post here wins
repost from elsewhere, excuse the smelly feet...
"I have devoured enough science fiction films to wonder whether we should just be more honesty about it and go back to some traditional old fashioned rituals that we still practice to some degree, like the aforementioned Morris Dancers, back to the collusiems then, are they not what made Rome great, a glorious celebration of brutality, could we, will we, would we, again..." he wonders taking his steaming boots off with ten miles under his belt the exhausted Jats continued "...firstly it would give the chavs something to do at weekends, or we could make them slaves, unless I fall into a category, the ring then, a soldier of fortune, whatever, there is always some regime you have to bow down to, or have I just watched too much science fiction..." confused the Jatsman makes tea.
