I think I am probably the only person who hasn't seen this, cute, but, in case you haven't, shown to me by my son, and even more entertaining now that I am on Linux, not having to fight these battles any more, leaving me more time to have "fun".
Don't expect poetry every time, this is Random

Re: Random Stuff
Isn't it great those early days when you learn how you both like to take your tea or coffee, the little likes and dislikes, the way a certain kiss or touch gets a certain response as you explore each others bodies time after time, and while there are occasions when hard sex is just right, and whatever games you want to play, day or night, it's those times when you make love, that constant, the loving restraint, much better than sex, on and on, a marathon of pleasure to look forward to, well into your old age, never wanting to stop, to find someone that special, always wanting that shared comfort, to be " My Better Half and Me", that's love then.

Re: Random Stuff
Now I can't be doing with religion, "opiate of the masses", "fodder for fools" etcetera, but I can understand spirituality, a connection with the earth the moon and the stars, and while I also think astrology has spawned into something akin to shopping TV, there is a glimmer of sense in the distant pagan history, but there is no denying the influence of the moon on all of us, the pull of the tides, the gateway to our wondering of the planets and the impact of the moons creation from that unique random event, that consequently reshaped and formed the earth we know of, resulting in us, a constant visible reminder above us that we are all just "Random Stuff".

Re: Random Stuff
Another repost from elsewhere then seeing as its so quiet in here....
Would that be the ultimate betrayal you think, when we have reached that point, as research surges ahead, with some experts predicting that within a hundred years we will all be living to 180, and to sate the no doubt increasing demand for the younger woman, the technology has caught up too, and the pleasure androids are rolled off the assembly line, delivered to your door, only to find, some years later, something vibrating hidden in the back of her draw, and then a little while after, finding yourself on the internet complaining "my robot girlfriend has just dumped me"

... I was reading books like 'The Elephant Man' when I was 10, and crying for the pain he was feeling! Well it was a sad story. The film was nothing compared to the book, even though it starred Anthony Hopkins.

"Getting back to this, finally, a reminder of a good film, perhaps one I will revisit, one for the boys maybe if a suitable moment deems it appropriate, although they are pretty good at that balance for their ages, better than a lot of adults "pretending" not to look, yes, thinking back to some occasions now..." seeing as its half time in the second FA cup game and I am not interested in what the pundits think of of it "... indeed they are pretty well rounded and have prompted some interesting discussions while we wander around the supermarket or elsewhere out and about, when they encounter things strange to their eyes, and I try to help them see the human being behind, and remind them too that sometimes the most beautiful of masks can be hiding the deadliest sins, and it's not my fault then if it leads to comparisons with "Grandma" and a chorus of "Cruella De-Ville", no no, it's entirely hers".

"xxxx you have had some disastrous dates" shakes head in bewilderment "it's like a list of all the guys you don't want to meet, one after the other, and no wonder then you are a little bitter, the pitfalls of internet dating, putting you off for life, from contemplating mating, that's it, never again, bloody men, so complicated, bastards the lot of them, and perhaps for some of mine, I am one of them too, although I would disagree, as it wasn't me, it was them, they were just not right for me, so don't lament, don't bend, take it all with a smile, and one will come along to make it all worthwhile, meanwhile sing your heart out, journey on, each one is just a step to find that man, who will come when you are least expecting it, as before you know it one will be there right under your nose, forget the dating, and go for friends, for if it turns to love, at least you know you are going to get along, until the end.

Re: Random Stuff
"I do like this site" muses the chameleon, a little too early on a Saturday morning "... even though it's like one of those deserted English seaside resorts where you can sit at the front feeding Seagulls with your chips or enjoying the most delicious Ice cream that you have ever tasted ever, and you can sit there for hours, and no one comes along, just the wind and the ever present churning of the sea, that holds your gaze mesmerisingly, keeping you company as you gather your thoughts and try not to talk out loud to yourself, like others you see" and the chameleon heads for the kitchen to make his second cup of Tea, enjoying the peace and quiet before everyone wakes "... things change, slowly, unexpectedly, a flurry of activity now and again, an automatic polite " good morning " turning into interesting conversations, or even observations without a word, make it worthwhile, yes it's quiet here, but I will come again"

Re: Random Stuff
"I never got into Star Wars at first" muses the chameleon "... and only appreciated the simple tale of good and evil many years later, and for all I enjoy the twists and turns and the stunning imagery, well of the first three, no the last three then, I have often wondered how different it would have been had it been set in the future, rather than a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, like would there have been scenes such as "Good afternoon Mr Vader we are the child support agency" and "use the force Luke, and if that does not work, turn it off and then turn it back on again" and worse...

can't make heads or tails of this thread

the goblin showed, saying "...basically for me this thread is a stage to perform on, coupled with a nag of "well what material to you have done today then, and which ones are you actually going to finish today too", and, although this really shouldn't matter when one is anonymous, it is appalling seeing oneself either devoid of any postable material, or just how much material one has just lying around as if unfinalized to oneself...", in fact, at times the goblin wondered if he wasn't feeding that plant in that "the little shop of horrors" film, "...feed me Simon..." joked the slot again, and the slot was always hungry

Re: Random Stuff
"Why Flea old chap, good to see you again..." the chameleon nonchalantly throws a chip into the air and on cue a Seagull swoops down to pluck it on the rise "...sit a while lets chat, before you play your game elsewhere, the amusement arcade gets busy here, and the food is good, otherwise it's quiet, reminds me a little of those 2p slot machines... you keep feeding enough in and eventually you get something out of it, although a slight nudge now and again ner goes amiss either"
