This game is really very simple. You start off by saying something that could be fortunate (eg. Fortunately, the cat had a successful operation) or unfortunate (eg. Unfortunately, the plane crashed into a building).
The next person that replies must reply with the opposite word (so, if you started of with unfortunately, they'd say something fortunate, or vice versa) and continue with the story. IT MUST MAKE SENSE!!
If, after at least ten posts of the one 'story', you get stuck, you can start another one off (make sure you say you're starting another one off though).

Here's a little example:
Person 1: Fortunately, I left for school early.
Person 2: Unfortunately, the traffic on the roads were bad, so the bus journey was slow.

I'll start.
Fortunately, my dog gave birth to ten healthy puppies.
