"...oh nothing really..." replied the the goblin, continuing "...thought I might try "hot smoked fillet of hare with red onion compote and mountain cranberries" followed by some "seasoned steamed halibut roulade with creamy red pepper sauce" and then "whole roasted sirloin of reindeer served with glazed vegetables and game sauce" and finally "home-made caramel pudding with cognac and caramel sauce", and that's about it then...", except that the goblin had only imagined it now, as if slowly looking into his coffee he knew that at his age he couldn't eat much for supper even if it were true now

Chingri macher kofta (sorta since I didn't use shrimp/prawns, but extra firm tofu [allergies suck and blow at the same time]), spicy tilapia with pineapple-pepper relish, Jamaican spice cake and jasmine tea.

Tonight will be less exotic, I guess.

Multigrain banana nut pancakes and hot veggie sausage patties. Nothing exotic.

Grilled portobella mushroom cap cheese"burgers", brown rice pilaf, peach Melba yogurt pops, and Sow Mee white tea with honey and lemon.

Orange "chicken" salad (orange "chicken" on a bed of greens with an Oriental-style dressing), quinoa, a strawberry frozen fruit bar, and diet ginger ale.

Spinach lasagna, mixed greens with fresh apples from the farmers market and blue cheese dressing, sliced white nectarine with golden raspberries, cocoa-almond meringues and lemon seltzer.

Sorry that it's not that "exotic" this time around.

Roasted vegetable quesadilla using reduced fat cheese, imitation chicken enchilada with a black bean and brown rice side, nonalcoholic sangria and peach Melba yogurt pop.

Yesterday it was sesame chicken using imitation chicken, iced green tea with lemon and orange juice and a low fat grasshopper ice cream sandwich for dessert.

Sorry about this.

Oatmeal cranberry apple pancakes using apples I bought at the local farmers market and smoked salmon bisque. Lemon slushed ice layered with strawberry slushed ice to "drink".

I know, I know. Eclectic.

Chicken enchilada dinner with a black beans and brown rice pilaf, spring mixed greens salad with blueberries, shredded sharp cheddar cheese and light Thousand Island dressing, and a piece of chocolate angel food cake. Lemon seltzer to wash it all down.
