My reply for my current life -
-divorce husband* after placating him with half the winnings :biggrin:
-put $2 mil in bank (that's enough to live on the interest alone)
-buy mom house
-give hubby enough $ to shut him up and leave me alone
-give a boost to several charities (mostly animal and health)
-use a huge chunk to be Angelina Jolie for a while (not as beautiful of course, but traveling around those underdeveloped countries, learning more about them, what they really need and how they can help themselves)
-buy my own space; small, animal friendly with large library and comfy furniture and no neighbors

*in case you are wondering, yes this is a joke :biggrin:

As for me and $50mil... I would travel... ALONE!!!!

I would:

1. Pay off all my bills, my sister's bills and my Mom's bills.
2. Set up a fund for my nephews for college and put some in investments.
3. Take my Sister and family to Disney World.
4. Purchase new homes for each of us. Mine would have to have horses and a library.
5. Adopt several retired greyhounds and racehorses.
6. Open up my own pet store.
7. Get involved in horseracing and rescue groups for retired horses.
8. Take my nephew anywhere he wants to go. He's been begging to go to Australia, New York, and San Diego.

First rule, put half the sum in bank for the interest which will help you to live all the rest of your life. Consider spending 12,5 for your bills, family and friends. And the other 12,5 millions ? For enjoying yourself ! Who bought the ticket ?
