I was in the Authors forum in the workshop. Chrispenycate, Moonbat, and a few others were working on a collaborative story. We had just started talking about it. (The story hadn't actually begun, we were just sort of designing the components, the structure and the plot.) I sure hope we can pick up where we left off, I was really interested in that project.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad at Brian or anything. I know these things happen. Maybe the new version of our collaboration will be even better.

Well. I spent a goodly portion of the weekend working out elements for that thread; I suppose I'll have time to type them out, now.

I can't actually remember what was the last thing I did…

I can't remember my last post. Oh...actually, maybe I can. Probably in the SM, expressing my dislike about a previously mentioned book. Or maybe I posted after that, I can't remember...

Actually, on second thoughts, I think I did post after that. My last post might have been mentioning that I still had my cold, perhaps...

I was wondering if you got my last reply Chris. I was saying that I understood your explanation of the physics of moving to the next plane - The possibility of a density mismatch, and therefore the "thunderclap", but What I was wondering was what is the mechanism that allows a ship (Zeppelin, or otherwise) to slip between the alternate universes? That's really the part I didn't get. Thanks,

That's quite largely because I'm making it up as I go along. I didn't have this universe (multiverse?) sitting there waiting; I started tailoring it to order (bespoke universe ; never mind the quality, get the speed. You'll get more to chew on when I've transferred it from my faithful A5 pad into the electronic heart of the computer. Isn't it a pity I'm the world's slowest typist?
