Default The best Mp3 player?

I'm gonna have to go with sony walkmans, they have good battery life and are simple and straight forward to operate.

I'm personally a huge fan of the iPods. I don't think I could go back to a walkman or a portable CD player anymore. It's fantastic to be able to carry your whole music library around with you - especially when it can fit in your pocket.

I think ipods are too expensive! I'd like to know what the most most economical ones would be...like Creative Zune or something similar?

All I know is don't goo too cheap...we got burned by a Ultra Hydra.....total crap
