Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
So, anyone interested to talk about the last volume ? Who believes this time is the end for Voldemorf ?
I pre-ordered my book on Amazon, but unfortunately my postal code didn't qualified for a special shipment on 21 July.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Yeah, I do believe it's the end of the line for Voldemort. And incidentally for Harry as well. Either killing Voldemort will turn him into a plain Muggle, or else he'll die himself. I believe that Harry gets his powers from the scar on his forehead, and that the scar is the final horcrux. So, destroying the scar means destroying his own powers.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
In my opinion, Harry will survive, not because he is Harry Potter, but as the instrument of good vs evil.
His parents were both witches. Why do you think only the scar gives him the powers ?

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I had never thought that Harry's scar could be a horcrux...hmm, that would certainly complicate things. I'm just wondering who will deal in this final installment, someone really major like Harry, Hermione, or Ron, or someone with a slightly smaller role, like Luna or Neville.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Well, some fans of Harrt Potter believe that his scan is a horcrux.
Things are more difficult when we mention Snape.

i hope you spent less than me because i am having some serious regret crisis at the moment with my purchase.
I was so excited on sunday, i bought mine at borders at £11.99 and it was only when i reached home that i found out i could get it at £5.99 at asda and £6.99 in other stores... that was enough to cut my enjoyment of the book by half...
sniff * sniff * sniff * sniff

there was a battle of prices here in london for the store selling the cheapest harry potter book... and brands were fighting to the bone...
amazon £8.99
waterstone £8.99
borders £11.99
play.com £9.99
one whsmith store sold it at £6.99
smaller stores, £6.99
even ebay, £5.99
even asda but i just heard asda had some serious pricing problems with bloomsbury with the publisher cancelly the supermarket 500,000 book orders...
it was hot! but now the fever went down and the prices back up at the normal price of £9.99 !!! and i was one of the unlucky buyers to get it at a higher price!
*sigh* *sigh* oh well ..... it is too late... better enjoy it as much as possible......

Man! I wish I had access to UK prices...here in the US, prices didn't get much lower than around £30!
