German is a difficult language, and whilst there's a lot of it I don't know, I was able to pick up some conversational German from watching German tv a few years ago (some of the German satellite channels used to show anime that wasn't immediately available to the UK)

what's your mother language? Yeah, German is rather difficult. If only want to learn a foreign language, French is a better choice if you have good English basis.

German is still pretty similar to English, though. In fact, it is the reason that certain nouns in the English language are still capitalized (nouns in German are capitalized).

A second language must be more useful in nowadays. I have only learnt English as my second language and I also want to learn some other one. These are the sites I have found to use in my learning.
