Default To read list

instead of the what have you read, how about what's on your wishlist? what are you dying to get into for the new year? what do you feel obliged to read?
i'm looking forward to getting my hands on the new pern book and finish the lemony snicket series.

I'll may try the Pern Dragon saga, never read it (shame on me I know) but the movie Eragon made me wishing to read it.
And the next Harry Potter, and finishing my collection of Robert Silverberg books.

I just want to see if JK Rowling is ballsy enough to kill him.
BTW, as you're our resident Pern specialist, where should I begin ?

hehe, i have no qualms about scotching that idea. i fear harry will continue for years to come, surrounded by teen angst, well into his 90's....

for pern, best place to start is dragons flight, it was the first one written, though it comes towards the middle of the series chronologically. but it sets a good base for the rest of the series. i will warn you, continuity isn't her stong point - oh big details are kept to, but little things slip through.
