Post aphorism

All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence -- and then success is sure.

I remember reading this somewhere else and I tend to agree with the confidence thing. Ignorance doesn't get you too far these days. A little bit of brain goes a long way.

That's a new one I haven't heard, but I rather like it. It's written so simply complex yet needs no explanation...I'm going to start using that...

I want to add "blissful" ignorance.
Great quote, very true and can be applied in many ways.

Very true...sometimes I do feel much more blissful when no one keeps me posted haha...the saying is true, what you don't know won't hurt you!

Right, but the longer you don't know about it...the harder it hurts when you do find out!

Ack...good point. I guess it depends on what it is, like when my coworker tells me about all his conspiracy theories, I say, no thanks, I'd rather not know when or how I'm going to die, when an asteroid is hitting earth, or what radioactive craziness we might have in our water, I'd just like to enjoy it while I can haha

I am really tired of hearing about all the things that might kill me. I want to simply do as I choose and die with a smile on my face.

Let's start a club! LOL

Sagemother, I couldn't agree more, it seems this day and age there is so much that's going to kill you. How did we ever survive our childhoods?
