Default A joyous festive season

Hm, quiet here, isn't it?
Yes, I know, partly my fault: but I'm just next door if anyone should need me.

Well as I prepare for the annual pilgrimage to greet family with chocolate and cheer,

A very happy (non-denominational) celebration of the winter solstice (more or less) to one and all!!

*chris finds a stack of wrapped presents and his runt manager brings a special "present" for her staff: a couple of freshly killed pigeons that invaded her hunting grounds*

Long time, no see, chrispenycate.

Yes, I know, but I'm in chronicles if anyone should want my opinion on anything.
You've a cat who kills pigeons? Wouldn't like a short vacation by any chance?
Well Cheops got a pigeon once, and spread its dismembered remains over the entire flat; but Cheops is long gone, after a failed attempt at feline bungy jumping (he lived on the fifth floor, and even landing on one's feet from that height is not an adequate protection)

And my sister's Oedipuss managed a magpie, and delivered it proudly to her bed; big cat, that.

Chris ! Should come around more as some here won't go anywhere close to CN anytime soon.

Anyway, Merry Chrismas, Yule, Hannukah, and end of year festivities to all.
What's everybody's for this year ?

Celebrating Christmas here...happy holidays to all!. We hope to get some more snow, awfully dry. Skiing could be better.
We got a dog in October. He's supposed to be a german shepherd, but we (and the vet) seems to think he's more of a border collie/kelpie mix. Someone at the dog park called him a "sawed-off doberman" because of his coloring. Well-behaved, and he's already caught 2 mice!! (out in the yard)
Our cat still is the master of the house, though, duh!

Chanukkah and Yule (sorta.) I'm a strange blend of Jewish and pagan (I could explain it elsewhere if anybody's truly interested.)

We have some snow, was supposed to get more. I hear that there is no snow up north. Montana is bare. We just missed this last blizzard. Cheyenne and Laramie and points south got it all! Folks are skiing in the streets! We could really use some!

Very interesting. As Wikipedia told me Christian Wicca exist, nothing surprise me anymore. Yet other people beliefs always fascinated me

Happy end of Channukkah and Yule !

And Merry Christmas for the others.
