Exam nerves.
so, all course work and portfolio's are handed in, i'm registered for my next course, provisionaly that i pass the first module. i know i have, unless i've completely missed the point somewhere along the line, but the nerves that i have waiting for the results. all of course delayed by industrial action by tutors and university and college evaluation boards. i want confirmation that i've passed!

Re: Exam nerves.
I don't think I'll take any class this autumn. My department is in restricted budget. I couln't take back my money for the last session.
Another reason is I have no patience for shool anymore. I cannot complain, I took all my exmans with good grades, but I have to admit I made a minimum effort to study. Study and full time job don't match together. Anyway, not for me.
I'll wish you good luck, Princess. As long as you are interested in school, go for it !

I did that for seven years. After accumulating 3 years worth of classes (enough of the right classes for my associates) I ran out of gas and settled for what I had. The best I could manage was 2 classes at a time. I sympathise, it's a hard row to hoe.

Re: Exam nerves.
Congrats, Ivy.
I sure wish I could get back into school, but it is impossible right now. First of all, I can't go out to classes and take care of my mother at the same time, and second of all, no school in my area has a grad program in my subject area (anthropology). I could switch to history, but then I'd have to take some more classes before I could do a grad program. So, it will have to wait.

Re: Exam nerves.
Congrats Ivy !
LMA, can't you take a home program to get at least some of the courses for your grad program ? Here, there's a special state organism dedicated to studies - both for leisure, school (if the kids can't attend regular school - home schooling is not as well seen here as it is in USA), or for professional purpose. Plan to follow some of them during my maternity leave : getting a doctorate in law or starting a whole new language study.
