I've just made a few key changes to FreeCafe...
1. Removed threads/members
Originally FreeCafe was set up on a copy of the database from the
chronicles network. However, this meant that chronicles posts and users that were no longer active continued to be displayed on FreeCafe.
- I've now deleted all users who have not logged in since FreeCafe was set up
- I've deleted all threads not posted to since FreeCafe was set up
That means that the forums statistics you see now are effectively just the activity and members since FreeCafe was founded.
The point here is to make FreeCafe more of a unique user experience, and remove the initial platform used from chronicles to give FreeCafe an initial push to help establish itself.
2. Forum changes
I've also slightly restructured FreeCafe to help work better with it's growing identity. As FreeCafe was essentially set up as a general fun, play, and chat forum, I've now moved the boards relating to these areas to the top of the forum.
I've also separated the general discussion forums into their own section.
Some boards have also been renamed - this is to help make it easier for new users to find exactly what they're looking for and know which sections are most approriate to post in. It should also help other people find FreeCafe easier from other places on the web.
3. New staff
I've made Alexa and LittleMissAttitude supermoderators of the forums, so that they can now help keep the forums free of spam from any board section.
