I spent a couple of days this week visiting another steel mill in Mississippi where I have tenatively been offered a job. If the offer comes in high enough I'll go. What that has to do with this thread is I'll probably gain an average of 10 to 15 degrees in the summer. On the other hand I may never see any significant snow done there.
If I could've gathered snow from this past winter (and rain from this past June), you wouldn't have to worry about snow down there (if you get the job [knock wood].)

The mill is in the far northeastern part of the state so it's quite a ways from the gulf. Although on the other hand, the gulf area in good weather is beautiful.
