I tried some profiteroles at the hotel restaurant on our anniversary a couple of weeks ago. I had to ask what they were but they were wonderful. I could nearly hear my arteries harden. And it's getting hotter here now. Creeping up day by day. 96 F today. Higher tomorrow and Monday.

I can empathize with your heat complaint (I chatted a bit with the postman and with the former apartment manager [who still lives here] and they were complaining about the heat. Both Tito and Javier are from the Caribbean.)

Or spend your birthday in hospital because by the end of the heatwave a certain someone (of still undertermined sex) though it was time to see the world and change his/her mind and stayed for more days (weeks ?) in my belly.

Not even born and already a picky kid.

On the whole, the heatwave was a good reason to have every one driving me to a watered place (pool, river or beach) at every time. Was great.

Not possible in public hospital, and recently learnt I won't be able to have a painless birth too as having migraines prevent me to receive the correct injection. Planning to have the less medicalized yet healty delivery as possible (and the soonest as possible too, I need a discussion with my dear kid).
