Default I was hearing an echo.

Until Nesa's playroom post's this morning this place had gotten awful quiet. It had been pretty active for a while with regulars and semiregulars and then nobody posted for a few days. Granted it was the Independence Day weekend in the US but this is an international/ intercontinetal site. At time I even suspect extraterrestrial. And you could hear a (cyber) pin drop.

Aliens ? Where can I see them ?

We had a long week-end, too. The day of Canada, notorious for those who move into a new appartement.

Hot season killed my brain and I was so busy trying to get cooler I've couldn't think of posting something anywhere. Plus the fact that i'm busy preparing my holidays.

Holidays ... someone mentioned holidays Have fun Leto.

And it's blazing hot here too. There's thunder and lightning and the skies darken but no rain in sight. Am probably going to melt into a puddle on the sidewalk which is hot enough to cook an egg - I tried that just now.

Believe it or not this place and the Chronicles keeps me sane at work

Must be nice. Our internet is monitored. On the other hand I'm salaried so when I run out of things that need doing, I can usually just go home (I probably have ten or so hours in by that time anyway.)

The Internet is definitely not monitored here. Probably not very plausible in a newsroom but most everyone usually has some chat window or blog or some such thing going along with the usual music and pm'ing each other.

Working from home, no one monitoring me, except the cat. And she complains a lot when I play on WoW.

From what I understand through Bad RPers Suck (a Live Journal community), she has a legitimate right to complain. Besides, WoW takes time away from your obligations towards her (you know :kitty:s. .)
