Default The easy life

Most products on the market are trying to sell 'easy' living, with everything from bath salts to cars, so my question is, what would really make a difference to you? what would make your life easier?
i need two things, and neither comes in a can, space and time.

Actually the market tries to adapt at the most foolish dreams of humans. It's all about the demand and offer and of course, money. No time to cook ? No problem, here you have the food ready to eat. No time to go search for a DVD ? No problem, you can ask and have it directly on your TV. No time to read ? No problem, you can take the tape and listen while you drive. Even Nirvana has some short-cuts to get it. And I could find all kind of other examples.

We run after time and money and easy substitutes to make us believe we really live.

The real problem is that most of us don't have a higher goal in life. The church (no matter the religion) should guide us properly. Instead we have priests over priests and religion looks more like politics. And we are left alone asking ourselves why are we on earth for.

This thread reminds me of when PCs first became available, and they tried to market them to women as an easy, convenient way to store recipes. I think that was the primary reason why I didn't want anything to do with computers for about the ten years after that. Luckily, I had to take a computer class as a part of my paralegal studies course. That was the beginning of an addicition.

To my defense, I must add that the housework chores are equality done between me and the husband. And the cat too, but she really don't help.

We really need more time, both of us.

That has to do with sales propoganda. You need the new technology. You must want it. Everybody else has it. I grew up in a house with one black and white TV, an area rug (no wall to wall carpeting) and no air conditioning. (we were lucky to have central heat.)

I tried a time warp to get everything done and went the wrong way. I'm now two years behind in my yard work.
