Eating human flesh to save my life ? I prefer to die.

I didn't know about Jeffery Dahmer, so I googled on the net. Brrr, he was sick ! And how many died because the police didn't check him properly. Police should have more special units to detect such abnormal behaviour and catch them before transforming themselves in serial criminals.

Alexa, in the Andan case (they were from Argentina and played rugby BTW), they didn't kill anybody. They just ate the flesh of their friends who died in the crash. In such extreme situation, you don't know how you'll react.

Say, you're with your child and there's nothing else to feed him/her than human flesh (from a dead body). What would you do ? Would you let your own child die ?

Another example of survival cannibalism is in cats : under shortage of food, some young female cats have been known to eat their own kittens when there are too many newborns to feed all of them, and they eat the weakest who anyway wouldn't be able to survive.

I'm know myself quite well. I couldn't consider myself human anymore after eating human flesh in any conditions. It will break my heart, but I'll choose death for both of us, my child and myself.

After several days of no food your ability to think and make decisions might change dramatically. Pray you're never in that situation.

the survivors of the andea crash all showed intense stress following the incident and had to undergo intensive counselling to allow them to live with the descisions they had made. it is also to note that one of the women who survived the crash was not able to eat the flesh and did infact choose to die.
As for laws, although there are no laws against eating persay human flesh in most countries, there are often laws against interfering with dead bodies, from the days of grave robbing.
Dahmer was not given the death penalty as the state in which he was tried had no death penalty to sentance him with, he was killed by another inmate who felt offended by his crimes. although dahmer was portrayed as a raving cannibal there was very little evidence of this in his home. he did boil down his trophies to bone in some cases, on others just kept them for freshness sake (shudder)
On another note, it has been pointed out that humans breed very easily and would be a wonderfully cheap source of meat (soilent green is people....). Our future may well include institituonalised canibilism.
