CNN news "Biologist battles killer pythons"

Now, this is an interesting article about snakes. It seems Florida will have on May 6th the first "snake amnesty day" !

And a courageous biologist, Skip Snow fights to get rid of pythons, so called "the enemies" from the Everglades National Park.

"It could be literally thousands," Snow told Reuters. "It could be a number I don't want to know. It could be scary."

Not really much feeling pro or con. My one snake story was when a 14" Garter snake ran into my garage when I was mowing. I want to capture it to release it elsawhere and it reared up and his at me. I looked at the small snake and asked it, "Just who do you think you're f%$#&ing kidding?" I caught it in a coffee can and took it to a wooded area a mile away.

Aouch ! Small or big, my first reaction in front of a snake will be to run away as fast as I can.

At the time I probably had him by 170 and three quarter pounds. It was rather funny to see it posturing at me.

The only moment when I could think a snake being funny is when I see it into a cartoon. I know, I'm not really brave. *sigh*

Maybe it's my ability to step outside myself and see a four ounce non-poisonous snake hissing in a threatening manner at a 170 pound man. It becomes funny if you can see it that way.
