I thought this film was very good. Special effects used to support the plot rather than just being added for the sake of it was very nice to see. The actual plot was very fresh, not following the usual sci-fi action film, and that's all I look for in a film; a fresh idea and a well written plot with special effects if necessary.

I also tend to like any sci-fi spacey films anyway so that's what initially attracted me to it, but you don't have to be a sci-fi nut to like this film.

I saw it some time after it came out and found its universe intriguing. I located and purchased the Firefly series and found it also interesting. Interseting characters and a different look at the future.
