So I'll bring you a french proverbs I like so much :
" Les femmes des uns font le bonheur des autres ", by gustave flaubert.
it means " The wifes of one's men do the pleasure of others " (but it's more beautiful in french)
Qui s'excuse, s'accuse. (He who apologizes, accuses himself, i. e. tells the world he's guilty.) Don't apologize until an apology is needed, or you'll seem guiltier than you really are.
