Australia winning qualification the other night would have to be the most important game in australian football (soccer) history... YAY! who knows a bit more improvement (and a touch of luck :biggrin

and we may just make it past the group stage?

You can't question Brazil but for an outsider, Italy are way overdue for a good showing.

I don't think they are strong enough to win it this time round, but they'll get to the Quarter Finals.

your probably right, Im still guttered the bouys in green wont be there this time round. But even though it may have been a hard group on paper, they certainly had their chances. Lets hope germany can take a page out of Portugal's book on home ground advantage....

Not that it's likely but I'd also like to see Mexico take that next step
