I envy you (I had an oral presentation today in my Tuesday/Thurday ethnic studies class that was a combination computer and "hands-on" presentation.) I was lucky that I didn't include one section of information I had or it would've run 45 minutes instead of the 37 that it did.

For those interested, it was on my ethnic/religious heritage (Eastern European Jewish.)

Must be nice. My family background is so mixed, I can't approach the idea of ethnicity. I'm not even really sure we can be sure of species.

Just for my own record, in US form when they ask for ethnicity and you're from Italian background (Latium), what do you check : Caucasian or Latino ?

Yep. If it was a part of Czarist Russia, the Soviet Union and/or "Modern Russian Federation", we're studying it :smilie:

"White" or "Black" (since "you" could be of "African heritage" [aka "noir"] and be Latium.) Latino is for people of Spanish/Portuguese heritage (Mexican, Puerto Rican, Costa Rican, Brazilian, etc.) It might also be used to designate people of Haitian ethnicity even though Haiti was a French colony with no Spanish colonization iirc. *writes down "Look up Haitian history"* :smilie:
