Weekend's here!
i've a busy weekend ahead. my daughter broke the coffee table last night (don't ask) but not really a terrible things as i'm getting a new storage unit on saturday to take it's place (it didn't really have a place until the table gave in) and new bookcases (mine are so full it's just not funny, also have a wardrobe and several shelves, and books in boxes behind couches) and a microwave (mine packed in ages ago and only has one powersetting and i'm sure is disgorging poison fumes into my kitchen. so lots of DIY not to mention getting the house ready for halloween on monday and college starts again next week, so getting my life back together after a week of catering to nothing but children.
what are you doing? |

Celebrating the last October birthdays (half my family is born this month, the other half in May, I feel lonely in August
 )Getting my surprise present from my husband (who got theatre tickets at work and can't keep a secret properly )And general house cleaning. |

I think it's The Vagina Monologues, but he didn't confirm. He feels guilty because he spent the last week playing videogames till early in the morning, salvaging my sleep - and worse the cat's sleep - in the process.

Both of you seem to have plans working for the weekend. All I've got is work. When I'm not at job #2, I'll be putting shingles on the roof, or cleaning out the garage, or cleaning up after the men...whichever seems more needful at the time. I'll try to squeeze in a bit of quiet reading Sat. morning while the guys are working at the hockey game.

Well, I'll be at the University from 8.00-4.30 on Saturday and on Sunday. So in the evening, I have to do the cleaning, the laundry,cooking, some shopping and write my evaluation for work, hoping I'll have a good raise for next summer. Hmm. I don't want to think how I'll feel on Monday morning. *sigh*
