Hello all. a few changes around the ol' homestead then. We've re-named some of the boards and done a little moving about. There are now two categories, one for entertainment, and one for everthing else. can't really be simpler. None of your posts have been lost, so don't worry on that score.
I hope this will make things easier to find and esier to decide where to place a post or opinion. The freecafe is about friendlyness and fun.
And a certain amount of openness. It has been discussed amoung the staff for some time that the title of 'Chat' is a little misleading in that it may be misinterpreted as a chatroom with similar posting styles. We have therefore decided to change the name, however none of us can decide as we all think our own idea's are best. Therefore, we have agreed to be ruled by yourselves, as major contributors to the cafe. Please have a look and vote. the option with the most votes will of course be carefully considered...
Oh, no, i've just been told the option with the most votes by the end of the week will definatly be chosen as the new title for the board.

Well, its a bit churlish to vote for my own recommendation (nice someone else did, though! :wink: ) so I went for Hangin' on the Bar which I think nicely informs people that we are a more 'adult' forum where people can discuss a range of issues.

I was tempted by that choice, too, but I remembered I was one of those with PM's I didn't like, so ... I don't want others with invitations to the bar.

I was one of those too. But I think the problem is with the Chat name. In a bar, barmen and barmaids can check customers behave, we can do too.
I stick by my name and have no shame voting for it. :wink:
