Hybrid cars in vogue

Guys, this thread is for you. It seems the new current of carmakers is to build a hybrid that combines gasoline engines with onboard electric power, in other words high-tech and environmental. Those with hydrogen I have a guess they'll be abandoned.

The interest in a hybrid car seems really serious and all the marks will have their hybrid in the next few years. The crise of gasoline this summer in North America made this possible.

So, what do you say ? Ready for a new car ?

I thought all the guys are crazy about cars. Nobody interested to have a less expensive car ?

I wait for the day when I could buy one and fix in automatic position and let it do the job alone. And of course, a robot aboard to telll me witch direction is better. :biggrin:

I'm still mostly a pedestrian so I'm fairly ambivalent on cars (especially for a guy!).
I saw this cool car design in the press recently, though. It can rotate the cabin through 360 degrees so you never have to 'reverse' :biggrin:

It looks like a wolswagen and this is one car I do not like at all. *sigh : I was corrupted by my family's cars choices*

I sure hope my next car will be an hybrid or even an oil-free car, but for now I plan to use the current one as long as it can work without being crippled with dust.

My dream is to have a car with no oil at all, maybe all electric. The gas stations give me headaches.
