Oh, that's one of my favorites. In fact, in that same class, I argued the teacher into giving me an A instead of a B on my report card one quarter.
Or, if I really don't like a teacher, I've been known to find out what annoys them the most and then just keep doing it. I had a human relations teacher in community college who hated it when anyone asked questions. I found this out sometime during the first week of the semester. I also discovered that all she ever did was either stand in front of the class and read out of the textbook or complain about her family or her health. Which annoyed me, because I was paying to take the class. I could read the textbook on my own and didn't care at all about her family, since I didn't know them. So, I made sure I asked at least three or four questions every class.
Everyone else was afraid of her, and never asked anything. But I found out about two-thirds of the way through the semester that I was the particular hero of most of the class because they didn't like her any more than I did. And the most delicious thing was, the woman had to give me an A at the end of the semester even though she had made it clear that if she had had grounds, she would have thrown me out of the class. You see, I made all but about three points on all the exams and assignments during the semester, so she couldn't give me a bad grade.
