Clubs

when i was growing up, i remember being greatly influenced by things like the secret seven. we used to form clubs, at one stage a tree house was a club house, that was of course after my grandmother threw us out of the outbuildings to turn them into a rabbit hutch and chicken coop. we also had one in another outbuilding, wich was covered in honeysuckle, there we used to dig under the leaves for lizard eggs and try to catch bees (i don't know why, i was eight!). my point is that i was fascinated by them. maybe i'm gonna start a club now. i'm happy with ideas for themes :wink:

Nobody ever wanted me to be in their clubs when I was a little kid.

Although, I had just the opposite experience of yours with outbuildings at my grandmother's house. When I was very little, she had chickens (and how I hated those things). But she got rid of them later and my cousins and I turned one coop with a concrete floor into a roller skating rink and another one that had several rooms into a full-sized playhouse, complete with full sized furniture and (non-functioning, of course) appliances.

Never had enough friends to create a club. I had one real friend and then my imaginary twin sister. I did a lot of playing on my own.

Well, the only thing that really links us all is books - but a book club would kind of be redudant at this stage....

Chess club? AV club? Diner's Club? I'm fresh out of ideas....
