Sony PSP

So, I find myself the proud owner of 9 movies formatted for a Sony PSP (they were a prize I won, I didn't pay for them). Except I do not have a Sony PSP. Can they be viewed on a generic dvd player? Or should I just ebay the lot of them and forget about it?

eBay - they are on UMD format and can't be read on most DVD players.
