Little Green Men Of Kelly Festival took place this Sunday, July 21 at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Conference and Convention Center, located in western Kentucky near Fort Campbell. The festival commemorated the 50th anniversary of the most famous close encounters of the third kind in the history of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) of an alien invasion at Kelly.

Peter Davenport, director of the National UFO Reporting Center in Seattle, participated at the festival and had the occasion to tell tales of what he believes are some of the more fascinating, provable cases reported.

If you are interested in this kind of thing, you should go see Peter Davenport's website for the National UFO Reporting Center.* Sometimes they run a month or two behind in posting reports, but I go over there every once in awhile to see if anyone has been seeing anything strange in the skies in my part of the country.* Last time I was there, there had been several local sightings in the most recent two or three months reported.* From the reports, at least one of those sightings was not very far from where I live.

They're updated to the end of August now. I found four August reports from either within reasonable driving distance of where I live or places farther away that I am fairly familiar with.

I've always been very interested in UFOs and related phenomena. I've never made any concrete conculsions about what they might be, but I have come to the firm conclusion that too many people have seen too many things for all of the reports to be hallucinations or hoaxes, although I suspect that some of them, especially in certain areas of the country, might well be misidentifications of exotic aircraft being developed by our own military. Still, a quite interesting subject. :smilie:

I don't follow these reports as I used to. Maybe because they are only reports without any concrete appearence. I mean, something everybody can see and have no doubts aliens are among us. I want to believe in an alien invasion at Kelly, but I cannot stop wondering about it. Where are the aliens now ? Do they have problems with the distance to Earth ? If they really can visit our planet, they should be more evoluated than us, shouldn't they ? Where do they come from ? Another galaxy ? Which one ? Are we dealing with the same race or they have different races on the same planet ? Lots of questions like these and unfortunately, no answer.

On another side, the NASA, ESA and other space agency keep doing fusil type shuttles. Why ? If the government wants to keep in secret the proves of an alien technology, why not use "their knowledge" to develop other types of shuttles ?

I don't like very much how it sounds, but if the aliens (let's say we accept their existence for the sake of this conversation) have such of vehicles, we, the humans of Earth are primitives.
