Default Wonders of the world

Do you remember the seven wonders of the Ancient World ? Greek adored to compile lists of the fabulous contructions of their world. They didn't agree at the beginning, so more than one list was made. Antipater of Sidon and Philon of Byzantium drew up two of the most well-known lists. The final item was added around the 6th century A.D., the Lighthouse at Alexandria.

On the list we have: the great pyramid of Egypt, the hanging gardens of Babylon, the statue of Zeus at Olimpia, the temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the colossus of Rhodes and the Lighthouse at Alexandria.

You have to agree the ancient world had more than seven wonders, but greeks were interested only in their wonders.

Let's go back in time and add wonders from the other corners of the world like the great wall of China and Stonehenge. Do you know others ?

What about the wonders nowadays ? What contruction should be considered as a wonder of our world ?

Abu Simbel in Eqypt, amazing engineering to build it over 3000 years ago and an impressive example of modern engineering to move the whole thing 40 years ago.
