I'd give it the green flag, just as long as it's man made and a 'wonder'

Architecture and sculptures made by humans. Don't forget we have the statue of Zeus on the list.

so many wonders of sculpture and art. i'd think to give them their own threads? or we'll get bogged down in Rohdan, Michaelangelo, Davinci... thats before i even start on impressionisim etc...

All right, I am also inclined to think it's worth making them all into a separate thread Wonders of Art or something like that!

Here's another question, the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. It's one of the biggest international science projects in history, the engineering and logistics of the data collection alone are incredible, let alone the particle accelerator itself. It may support, create or disqualify any number of physical theories (or it may add very little to our knowledge ). It is not due online till 2007 (i think?) but if it was, would it deserve a place in the 'Modern Wonders'?

Even greeks made more than one list and it took some time till they got the final one. As this thread is dedicated to all the wonders of the world, you are aloud to propose for the final list what you think we may consider a wonder. We can always classify them by category later.
