Favorite fight scenes
my daughter is making me watch bridget jone's diary. again. grr, but i must admit that i love the fight scene.
they are terrible fighters, not polished and professional. pulling hair, tgripping and bighting. they do look like to business men who don't usually do this. and of course the sureal moment when they stop fighting to sing happy birthday, hugh grant being horribly off key.
one of my favorites. please, nominate yours...

Re: Favorite fight scenes
I like all karate or ninja kids scenes. I know they fight, but I just cannot take them seriously.
I have a lot of fun with movies of Jacky Chan. I know he repeats every scene over and over again till he gets the perfect one. That's why they look so well done. One of my favorite scene is in Shanghai noon when he finds Roy O'Bannon at the bar and another one when they have to fight together against the sheriff's men. In Shanghai Knights I like the scene in the market with the robbers.
I'm sure there are others, but I have to remember them first. *sigh* I began to forget things.

Re: Favorite fight scenes
There is a fight scene in one of the Sean Connery, 007 flicks (it may have been You Only Live Twice...can't remember) where 007 is fighting this large Asian guy and losing. They are in some sort of apartment, and I think that first 007 throws some of the drinks from the wet bar at the guy, then he tries to hit him with a statue or something. But the best part is where he actually picks up the sofa and beats him up with it.
I remember watching that and thinking, it's gotta suck getting your butt kicked with a whole sofa!
