Re: Cats thread
It's all good, if you've got a vet who's confortable with handling cats, vaccins shouldn't be a problem. Are they identified by a tattoo or a chip ?

Re: Cats thread
Ask him to identify them one way or another, even if they are strictly indoor cats. It's mandatory to travel abroad (with rabies vaccinations) and it may be very useful if they get lost.

Re: Cats thread
For the tattoo, the cats are asleep, for the chip it's simple a needle right under the skin, less painful than a vaccination.

Re: Cats thread
If you want to bring them with you visiting your family, chip and rabid vaccinations are mandatory.

Re: Cats thread
I'm the only one in the family crazy about animals, so I prefer keeping them at home.

Re: Cats thread
It's sufficient within European union, but it's also mandatory (at least) to all pets entering the union. Depending on the country they come from and the one they enter in, some other action may be needed (vaccination, qsuarantine). AFAIK, cats from Canada need not more than identification and vaccinations to enter French territory.
