We made a compromise. I gave her the regular food the first hour, than she has the right to ask for a little treat.
I cannot give her milk. She will have 10 years in October and for adults the vet do not recommend milk.

I used to give my companion, Shadow Kibblesbane, a bit of tinned :kitty: food for his treat along with some extra play time. He adored that, even though he developed diabetes.

Ce'Nedra is due for her blood test this year. I'm afraid I have to postpone it because of my otehr bills, but eventually I still have to do it. It scares the hell out of me after the experience with Bella.

I tried to adopt another cat, but Ce'Nedra didn't agree with him. He is so sweet and tried to play with her but a princess is always a princess.

Just got Tovarish a soft carrier yesterday (she's been in it a couple of times, but not for long.)
What's nice about the carrier is that, besides she fits in it better than the box I've been using, is that a portion of the sale goes to the ASPCA to help less fortunate animals. Oh, and it's much safer (straps that help her stay positioned safely in any vehicle she needs to be in for vet visits which her box doesn't have, straps to help carry her from Point A to Point B [which would be helpful in case we have a fire], and an ID tag where the staffpurrson can write in his/her phone number/s.) It can be used to bring her on an airplane or a train if we have to travel, too and several pockets for paperwork and stuff. Phyllis Sidheuaine

I'm going to have to start weaning Tovarish off of kitten food onto adult food soon. She was born roughly at the end of May or the beginning of June last year. She also needs to be chipped and taught to wear a harness or her own safety.
I'm also thinking of getting her a toy so she would avoid the window blinds (the one on the easternmost window and the center window are pretty trashed, but they're all el cheapos.) Phyllis Sidheuaine
