One can train some :kitty:s, but the human must do so on
their terms. Felines cannot be trained the same way as dogs because their "way of thinking" isn't the same due to the social structure of the species (or is it the other way around?). One just has to "reinforce" a desired action enough to switch it to "training".
Anyway, just remember this next time you think :kitty:s can't be "trained": the different feline actors and actresses in your favorite movies/TV shows/commercials have all been trained to do whatever it is they do, whether it is to be the "face", the "stunt" or whatever (plus, many of them were rescues from their "staffpurrson"'s local rescue shelter.
