Need help with wordplay

This is a question for an annual wordplay that I do.* I've got all of the other answers already but this one is stumping me.* I don't want the full answer, if you know the answer, just give me one word of it, or a hint.

Here it is: Identify this book and author (each capitolized letter is a new word):

These are usually classics or famous novels and authors. Some examples of the past would include Animal Farm by George Orwell or Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy

Nobody has a clue? How about giving me the names of authors that you can think of whose names begin with M for first name and T for last name. Anyone?

I did a research on the net of all the authors with the initials MT, but I couldn't find the book corresponding. Sorry. :redface:

I have to look again and prepare the list. Maybe you can find other books for them. See you soon.
