If you don't have much time this summer or you want to see only the best movies at the cinema, than I recommend "Batman begins" as a must see.

A young boy, Bruce Wayne, plays into his parents huge garden with his friend, Rachel, and falls into an abandoned well, full of bats. The young boy is scared and he makes nightmares with batsafter his falling. One evening he goes to the theater with his parents. During the show, because of his phobia for bats he asks to go home. But when they go out, a robber attacks them and the parents are killed right under the eyes of a very frightened boy. He grows up with the guilt of the person responsable for the death of his parents. After his studies, he abandones his home and let himself dragged into the interlope world. Henri Ducard, a Dark Knight find him into a prison in Asia and offers to teach him how to fight against his fears. And this how Bruce learns ninja technics. The day he is finally ready to take in charge the others ninjas, he discovers the true nature of the Dark Knights (Henri Ducard alias Liam Neeson and Ra's Al-Ghul alias Ken Watanabe). They want to destroy his city, Gotham. Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) cannot let this happen. So he fights against the knights and destroy their temple. He saves only his mentor, Henri Duncan and returns home. Bruce tries to get involved in his family empire and meets Lucius Fox, responsable for Applied Sciences division. The father of Bruce was a doctor and a dreamer. He used his fortune to sponsor all kind of unique devices and costumes, all useless for the current president. And Batman see the day, a little clumsy at the begining and more powerful and confident learning how to improve his appearence and weapons. All the time, alfred, the butler is on his side advising and encouraging. During the day Bruce gave the impression of a dandy and his old friend Rachel, presently a district attorney assistant, despises him.

I'll add one more thing. I loved Christina Bale's interpretation. For the rest I'll let you imagine it or see the movie.
