Ruth Rendell vs Barbara Vine
yes, i know its the same person, but i've found a distinct difference in style between the two. The Rendell Wexford Series are complex and well written. often chilling. but not creapy. Whereas books that i've read by Barabara Vine have usually left me with the horrors. especially The Tree of Hands *shudder*
