Ask for more shelves on your back to put all your files. Or start a post-it forest on the side of the monitor.

The post-it forest is already in place and my back is not a problem (one of my collegues there). We are 4 in our cubicle and I'm at the window, right side with my computer in the corner. So everybody who passes can see what I do all the time behind my back. It was really not my idea. RH imposed us that position.

Any room on the desk or on the floor at your left ?
If so, start building a tower of files, and papers on each free spot. Leaving just a trail for you to go to your desk and back.

As the other jailbird sharing your cubicle to help you build the Freedom Cave.

Hehe, my office is not far from that cave ! And you are right. The left side is still free. My collegue won't see me anymore. I suppose we have to use the telephone to speak with her. :biggrin:

Got experience in office guerilla in each three config :
- individual or semi-individual office - with a boss detector at the door and a paper basket ball competition running on Elvis background
- cubicle noise nuisance reduction by counterattack with Punk versions of Baby, one more time and Barbie Girl
- privacy preservation on total open space environnement through the forest of files, the slippy CD pocket left on strategic places. lots of classical music and sabotage of the nearby printer.

As a result, I cost less to my bosses working from home.

Because sometimes I am a bit loud on the phone with my gruff Yorkshire accent my boss said would I like to be in a corner away from the other four workers. The only door into the office is the adjacent corner so no-one can see my screen and if someone is heading my way, I can ALT TAB very fast!

Also have 5 or 6 internet sites open at any time so there is no name to read at the bottom of the screen. So this one, ebay, online banking, email provider & google so can search for the ID of the latest "Who Am I" !

Open a word or excel document, take a picture of it via "print screen" tab, save it and make this picture your screen saver. Now each time you want to have a nice chat around the coffee machine, people passing-by your office will see a work document and supposed you just left the place not several minutes ago.
