does anyone else read the novels about this fiesty bounty hunter with a pet hamster, who cries when threatened and keeps her gun in the cookie jar?
I love them. just been on a three book jag.

No I haven't but your little description has intrigued me. The only two contemporary mystery type series that I currently read are the Midnight Louie mysteries and the Elizabeth George ones. Perhaps I'll have to see if this is something I'd like. Any suggestions for a first book to try?

they are a series, the first is 'one for the money' but each book is completely stand alone. I think i started with hard eight. i've just read to the nines and hot six. two to get ready is good, and three to go was a smash hit. I read them as i find them in the local library, so out of sequence.
the author is Janet Evanovich.
