Whew, sorry to bring back an old thread, but I thought I'd add my two pence and show off my avatar. I drew it myself using lots of black ink, a gold gel pen and some orange card. After all that, it didn't look too bad!

No, but I can see why you'd think so. I wanted a design with autumnal leaves on it, but I couldn't find any pictures I liked, so I drew one myself.
