Russell Crowe lost his temper again, this time because of a malfunctioning phone into a New York hotel. The bad temper got him the nickname Jerkus Maximus.

"This is possibly the most shameful situation I've ever gotten myself in my life, and I've done some pretty dumb things in my life," the Australian actor told David Letterman on Wednesday. "So to actually make a new No. 1 is spectacularly stupid."

He finally realises he has a temper problem.
