But I like the idea of the grasshopper watching Star Wars. I wonder what results they would have gotten if they had showed it scenes from "Five Million Years to Earth" instead, considering that the aliens look a lot like grasshoppers.

And congratulations to you, dwndrgn. That's very cool.

Quick explanaition of the following photos...

We've been building our first house and had to move in with the out-laws once we got back to Oz in May but that was cool only a couple of months we thought, six months later and the house is really starting to get crowded with our 3 month old daughter as well (dont get me wrong they've been great to have us), plus friends get here from overseas on Monday to stay for a few months!

Anyway a month and a half ago everything on our house was done except the gutters we half painted, we're talking a couple of hours work tops.... and dispite countless phonecalls we just couldnt move in untill they were finished... but today I drove by and the painter was packing up leaving behind the other half of my shinny black gutters

Black gutters?

Aren't most gutters white?

Or are ya just being different on purpose?

They match the black tile roof, which goes nicely with the white limestone bricks... its not as strange as it might sound*

near where i live in Oz theres ALOT of development going on and although most places are brick and either tile or colourbond (like a tin roof but coloured to your choice) the colour/style choices are pretty open.

Today's pic is an image of one of Heironymous Bosch's interesting scenes from his Garden of Earthly Delights. I like his art because I also hate it...it is definitely discussion worthy.

You know, dwndrgn, Bosch's father-in-law was a pharmacist. Personally, I think Bosch was getting into the drug cabinet (or the equivalent of the time) and sampling the goods before he would work. Which is not to say I don't like the Garden - I think it's an amazing work of art. A bit, oh, dark, but definitely out of the ordinary.
