well, i'm a parent, and i get to drag my kids to see all maner of things that i really want to see, but are kid films. not that i wouldn't go on my own, but i'd feel a bit embarassed to sit through, say five children and it (although i don't want to see that one, i loved the book to much), surrounded by a group of kids and their families. how do you feel about going to see a kiddie film (no matter how good it looks) without a kiddie? or do you use the kid excuse? even borrowing the kids of friends and relatives (a good friend of mine borrowed my daughter to get to watch the tigger movie)

I don't have children, but I have two nephews. One of them has my tastes for movies and books, so I'm not ashamed to "take him out" to movies or change/fight for books. :biggrin:
When we fight for books we have another "enemy": my sister ! Not a very good idea to have good books around us.
